US Beauty Queen Has EDS – Throws fellow sufferers under proverbial bus.

Story is here

“I know plenty of girls who are in a near similar situation as me medically who are bed-bound, but I believe lifestyle has a lot to do with your attitude and how you view your situation.”

First rule of Zebra club is you do not shame others in Zebra Club. You have no idea of my physical or medical experience, and to judge me as having the wrong “attitude” because I’m doing everything I can and fall asleep every three hours is egregious. I may have more than one diagnosis, and, pardon me, but I have at least twenty years on you. I’m tired.

  1. I’d like to know what her life would be like if she didn’t get diagnosed when she did or if she hadn’t had her whole spine fused. Probably a lot like mine, and I guarantee there’s no lack of motivation or hard work on my part that’s keeping me from feeling better.

    • I’m sure being a Beauty queen is different from the three jobs I worked during my twenties. I wonder what my life might be like if I hadn’t burned myself out. šŸ¤” being able to eat might affect my energy levels. All this pain medication making me drowsy and constipated… but you’re right! It’s totally my attitude! šŸ–• hmmm. Been using this one a lot lately….
